Born in Eshowe, Zululand, South Africa, I began my career as a toolmaker for the railways in Pietermaritzburg. After completing my military service, I moved to New Zealand in 1998 in search of new opportunities.

My journey into knifemaking began in the early 2000s when I attended a knifeshow in Auckland. There, I had the chance to speak with experienced knifemakers who generously shared their advice and knowledge. Inspired by their craftsmanship, I decided to embark on my own knifemaking journey.

With a deep appreciation for precision and functionality, I set out to create high-quality knives, manufacturing many of my own machines and jigs to refine my process. Over the years, I have honed my skills and developed a reputation for producing unique, handcrafted blades. My knives have found homes with collectors and enthusiasts across the world, including in England, South Africa, Australia, the USA, Russia, and New Zealand.
